Maarc Etching gel is the etchant used in restorative dentistry.
INDICATIONS:
It is used in total etch technique for:
- Composite restorative
- Adhesives cementation of inlays
- Crowns
- Bridges
- Veneers
- Adhesive bridge
- Posts and cores
ADVANTAGES:
- Acts as demineralising to the enamel creating micropores from 20-30 microns in depth which allows greater adhesion of restorative metals.
