DermaDam:

DermaDam is made from pure latex rubber and is powder-free, which reduces the possibility of latex reactions. Quality processing ensures a low content of surface proteins.​

This washing process also reduces all other process chemicals to a maximum of 3–4 mg / m2 (some other brands contain up to 20 times this amount). This minimizes the risk of allergic reactions. Powder-free to eliminate undesirable contamination of the preparation. Low dermatitis potential: DermaDam reduces the possibility of user sensitization by chemical additives.

In some situations involving the use of dentin and/or enamel bonding at or below the gingival margin, rubber dam placement may be not be practical. In such cases hemostasis and/or sulcular fluid control can be achieved using the Tissue Management Technique.
